Zachary Rioux is a Canadian opera singer born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Mr. Rioux graduated with a Bachelor of Music from The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music and is currently a Resident Artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts. Recent accomplishments include earning second place at The Mario Lanza Competition, a Gold Medal with High Distinction at The Berlin International Music Competition, a Gold Medal at The 1st Vienna International Music Festival, first place at The Elite International Music Festival, and third place at The Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition. He was a Young Artist at The Glimmerglass Festival in 2019, where he performed as The Marquis in The Ghosts of Versailles.
